Mechanical Fitter
Location: Henderson, WA
Pay Rate: $55 per hour + OT + allowances
Work Hours: Day shift (6:30 am – 3:00 pm) with regular overtime
Position Type: Full-time, temp-to-perm

Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical maintenance on naval, commercial ship repair, and industrial projects.
Work on gearboxes, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, compressors, diesel engines, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Conduct site-based and workshop-based tasks with precision and efficiency.
Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Remove, replace, and align pipework and rotating equipment.
Ensure safety standards are met and report potential hazards proactively.
Achieve targets in safety, quality, and production for naval repair projects.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Requirements:
Experience in marine or naval maintenance, with time spent in shipyards.
Mechanical Trade Certification.
White Card (CSAT).
Current WA Driver’s License.
Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
Australian work rights (no visa sponsorship available).
Required Tickets:
Confined Space Entry (CSE).
Elevated Work Platform (EWP).
Working at Heights (W@H).
Desirable Tickets (Bonus Skills):
Rigger/Dogging Qualification.
Forklift License.
